All you need to do is find a way to make $100 then just keep repeating it.
This makes the goal a lot easier to achieve. Instead of focusing on some unreachable goal that can suck the life out of you, focus on $100. I've modified this rule a bit and say spend $100 and see if you can break even. Once you achieve this then go on to try to make $100. I've used this principle when exercising. One day I was late for my train and had to make up time by walking and running with a heavy bag. I focused on running towards a tree about 100 feet ahead of me and then walked once I reached it. I kept repeating this and was able to make my train. While writing this book I reduced the overwhelming feeling of all the things to do by just focusing on what's next. The focus on the small things I know I could do made the process of writing this book much easier. If $100 seems too daunting then focus on making $1.00 from your offering. An idea I have to sell something for a dollar like a course and the prices will increase by $1.00 a week. It helps people buy, by using the fact people are loss averse and don't want to lose a good deal that expires. |
